Our Termite Protection Process

1. Full Termite Inspection:
We inspect your home and look for active termite activity You'll get a clear written report and quote, whether termites are active or not.
2. Bait Station Installation:
We install termite bait stations around the full perimeter of your home. The stations sit flush with the soil and are designed to intercept termites before they reach your foundation.
3. Spot Treatment for Active Infestations:
If we find active termites in or on your home, we'll also treat with liquid or foam products — at no extra charge. This kills the termites you have right now while the bait stations work on the colony long-term.
4. Annual Monitoring and Re-Treatment Guarantee:
We return periodically to re-inspect and service the bait stations. If termites show up again, we handle them at no additional charge.

WHY BAIT STATIONS?
There are two main approaches to subterranean termite protection: liquid barrier treatments and bait stations. We use bait stations — specifically the Trelona ATBS system — for a few reasons:
🌱 No drilling, no trenching. Liquid treatments require trenching around your entire foundation and drilling through patios, driveways, and slabs to inject termiticide underneath. Bait stations install in the soil around the perimeter with no disruption to your home.
🎯 Colony elimination, not just deterrence. Termites carry the bait back to the colony. The active ingredient prevents them from molting, and the colony declines from within.
🔄 Long-term protection. As long as your annual monitoring stays active, your home stays protected. Most homes never see active termite pressure once the system is installed.
🧪 Proven on active infestations. Trelona ATBS is EPA-tested for both preventive and curative treatment. In trials on 50 homes with active termite activity, every single home showed no remaining activity at the 12-month inspection.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Have a question? Here are the most common ones about termite control:
1️⃣ How much does termite control cost in Dallas?
Termite treatment is priced by the linear footage of your home's foundation. We measure the perimeter and provide a clear, written quote before any work begins. Annual monitoring after installation is also priced by linear footage and renews each year.
2️⃣ Do I have termites or just flying ants?
Both swarm in spring and look similar at a glance, but there are quick differences: termites have straight bodies and equal-length wings; ants have a pinched waist and unequal wings. If you're unsure, take a photo and call us — or just save a few in a baggie and we'll identify them during the inspection.
3️⃣ How many bait stations does my property need?
It depends on your property layout — obstacles like driveways, trees, and hardscape affect exact placement. We don't quote by station count because that's our implementation detail. What we guarantee is that your full perimeter is covered, with stations concentrated at the points termites are most likely to find first.
4️⃣ How do termite bait stations work?
Termites forage underground looking for wood. The stations sit in the soil around your home and contain bait that termites prefer over wood. When they find a station, they feed on the bait and carry it back to the colony. The active ingredient prevents termites from molting, which collapses the colony from within. It works quietly underground — you won't see anything happening, but the protection is active 24/7.
5️⃣ Why do I need annual monitoring?
Termites are persistent. New colonies move into your area constantly, and your home will face new pressure year after year. Annual monitoring is what keeps the system working — we inspect every station, replace bait where it's been consumed, and check your home for new activity. The re-treatment guarantee only applies while monitoring is active.
6️⃣ Are termite bait stations safe for kids and pets?
Yes. The bait is enclosed inside locked stations sitting flush with the soil. Pets and kids can't access the bait, and the active ingredient is specific to insects.
7️⃣ How soon can you come for an inspection?
We try to get out as quickly as possible, usually within a day or two. If you're seeing active swarmers inside the home, let us know — we'll prioritize the appointment. Same day appointments may be available.
